Prepare & Serve Cocktails

This Cocktail course is conducted in a bar in Sydney's CBD. This is an introductory course & it will take you through the essentials of how to be a cocktail bar tender.

This bar and cocktail course covers areas such as:

  • Cocktail menus
  • Cocktail styles- stirred, poured, blended & shaken
  • Product knowledge- mixing, making, garnishing.
  • Workplace expectations and qualifications
  • Legislation (OH&S, RSA, RCG,.........)

This unit must be assessed with or after the following units:

  • THHGHS01B Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures
  • THHBFB09B Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • THHBFB00B Clean & Tidy Bar Areas
  • THHBFB01B Operate a Bar
  • THHGFA01B Process Financial Transactions

Upon successful completion of this cocktail making course participants receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in Prepare & Serve Cocktails THHBFB03B as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations.
