$70 for courses up & until 30 November 2008 if you pre-pay on line, in person, over the phone or by post, $75 if you pay at the course.
* Please note, the Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing has advised they will be introducing a fee ($15) to register new RCG certificates (mandatory in NSW) from 1 December 2008. If you complete(d) your RCG prior to the date this new fee is introduced you will not be required to re-sit your RCG as the Statement Of Attaiment (certificate) issued to you will be valid & comply with the new regulations. When this new fee is introduced, the cost will be passed onto the student.
As of 1 December 2008 the fee is $85 if you pre-pay on line, in person or over the phone or by post, $90 if you pay at the course.
Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
This RCG course (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) involves the successful completion of the unit:

This RCG NSW course became mandatory from 31 December 2001 for the staff of all gaming venues (NSW) and is recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework, VETAB (NSW) & the previously the LAB. The new Casino, Liquor, Gaming Control Authority (NSW) has replaced the Liquor Administration Board (LAB) 1 July 2008.

Describes the legislative framework for responsible conduct of gambling
Methods of implementing responsible conduct of gambling strategies
Lists the benefits of implementing responsible conduct of gambling practices
Pre-reading: (OPTIONAL) Relevant Liquor & Gaming bulletins (available from Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing & Licensees); Productivity Commission's Inquiry Report on Australia's Gambling Industries; Director of Liquor & Gaming V's Crows Nest Club
Assessment & completion standard: Theory & written
Identify & assist potential problem gamblers / provide assistance to family & friends / voluntary self exclusion of problem gamblers. Upon successful completion of the RCG course, participants receive a Statement of Attainment as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations. From 1 December 2008 students will also receive an additional certificate from the Casino, Liquor, Gaming Control Authority (NSW) to comply with the new regulations.
